Kirsten completed her training as a Registered Nurse in 2012 at West Virginia University and continued her education there to become a family nurse practitioner in 2015. Over the course of her career she has worked in a variety of settings including general surgery, primary care, and wound care. In addition to working at On Call Wound Care, Kirsten is on faculty at Florida Gulf Coast University. Also, Kirsten is in the process of completing her Doctor of Nursing Practice Degree. Kirsten finds nursing to be an interesting career with opportunities to help others medically. Kirsten understands that navigating the healthcare system can be difficult and works to find ways to meet the patient’s needs as effectively as possible.
Yanet graduated from medical school in Cuba at the Superior Institute of Medical Sciences Carlos J Finlay -Las Tunas Cuba in 2006 and completed a residency in Family Medicine at the same institution in 2009. She relocated to Puerto Rico and graduated from Sacred of Heart University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2013 and she completed a Master of Science in Nursing in 2021 at Keuka College in New York. Yanet has worked in several settings including hospital, outpatient care and home health and brings a strong clinical knowledge coupled with a multicultural understanding and compassionate care.
Ann started her nursing career in 2007 and became a board certified family nurse practitioner and acute care nurse practitioner in 2012. While she specialized in critical care, treating wounds has always been an important part of her patient care. As a career nurse Ann takes the whole patient into consideration and not only treats their wounds but also their nutrition, physical limitations and social issues.
