Beatriz completed her initial training as a Registered Nurse in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Miami and graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing degree from Florida International University and became certified by the American Board of Wound Management as a certified wound specialist (CWS) in 1999. With over twenty years of clinical experience in the field of wound healing, she continues to stay current with the latest evidence-based treatments and pursues excellence in education, completing a Doctor of Nursing Practice Degree in 2020. As a result, Beatriz brings to every patient a strong clinical knowledge coupled with a nursing holistic approach that not only focuses on the wound itself, but on the entire patient while considering other important aspects of the patient’s life such as the family, home and work environment, and social issues.
Laida Gray APRN, is nationally certified through American Association of Nurse Practitioners since 2004 and has been a Registered Nurse since 1995. She has a clinical background in pulmonary critical care, cardiovascular, neurovascular, renal transplant, and Hospice/Palliative Care. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Florida Gulf Coast University in 1999 and her Master of Science in Nursing from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2004. She remains committed to evidence-based practice and ongoing education to ensure the highest standard of care. She brings a compassionate, holistic approach to each patient—addressing not only the wound, but the whole person, including family dynamics, home environment, and social factors that impact healing and quality of life.
